blogstreet網(wǎng)站根據(jù)BlogRolling（博客網(wǎng)站之間相互鏈接的數(shù)量）而排出的名單，還是很具有參考價(jià)值。據(jù)介紹，參與排名的博客網(wǎng)站數(shù)量達(dá)到143848個(gè)。這個(gè)排行榜基本涵蓋了國(guó)外主要的優(yōu)秀博客網(wǎng)站，當(dāng)然很多是一些陌生的博客網(wǎng)站，需要時(shí)間去熟悉。
通過(guò)博客鏈接數(shù)量來(lái)排名很具有實(shí)際價(jià)值，就像Google用Page Rank來(lái)排名的道理差不多。一個(gè)鏈接就相當(dāng)博客世界的一張選票，優(yōu)秀博客常被人推薦，因此票數(shù)就比較高。這比單純的通過(guò)訪問(wèn)量（木子美的訪問(wèn)量就很驚人，當(dāng)然BlogRoll就不會(huì)高）來(lái)排名科學(xué)得多。
我想這份排行榜對(duì)于國(guó)內(nèi)博客界的一個(gè)非常重要的啟發(fā)就是：博客并不是木子美現(xiàn)象所昭示的“網(wǎng)上寫日記”，不是自己寫自己個(gè)人的生活和隱私。博客是以個(gè)人的視角過(guò)濾新聞、信息和知識(shí)，為別人提供更有價(jià)值的內(nèi)容。博客來(lái)源于航海日志（log），日志不是記錄船長(zhǎng)的個(gè)人私生活，而是記錄航海中重要的信息，供別人參考。航海日志的優(yōu)秀（他人參考價(jià)值大�。┡c否是衡量一個(gè)船長(zhǎng)優(yōu)秀與否的重要標(biāo)志。
總之，優(yōu)秀的博客不是表現(xiàn)自我，而且為他人而工作。InstaPundit.Com、Scripting News: 4/5/2004、Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters、Boing Boing: A Directory of Wonderful Things、www.AndrewSullivan.com - Daily Dish等優(yōu)秀博客網(wǎng)無(wú)不是如此。
木子美對(duì)博客世界最大的負(fù)面影響就是誤導(dǎo)了博客的發(fā)展方向，讓無(wú)數(shù)少男少女都去網(wǎng)上寫日記，使得博客在中國(guó)的發(fā)展完全偏離了正常的軌道，嚴(yán)重低俗化。
